Bookmark with a concise history of the Sinclair C5 by British Inventor Sir Clive Sinclair. Launched on 10th January 1985, at Alexandra Palace, London. The C5 was advertised as “A new power in personal transport”

An electric car set the first World Land Speed Record on 18th December 1898 in Acheres, France, with a speed of 39.24 mph. Electric cars held the record until 1902.
